Daniil Kvyat is your Driver of the Day for the Chinese Grand Prix.
Daniil put in an inspired drive to finish 3rd on the podium, in a highly competitive race. He had started from 6th on the grid and the finish is his second career podium. One man who probably will be less than pleased with this announcement is Sebastian Vettel, who blasted the Russian in the pre-podium room for his move at turn one which caused Vettel to hit his Ferrari teammate Raikkonen. Kvyat defended his move, stating he was just racing, indeed the stewards didn’t deem the incident worthy of an investigation. Kvyat is only the second driver to claim the Driver of the Day award, after Romain Grosjean collected the honours for Australia and Bahrain.
